How to Reset the Account or MSP for a New User

If the previous owner did not delete his account and release his Omni, please send us an email with your Omni's MSPID and the full address where the Omni is located.

Follow the steps below at the Omni control panel to find and record your Omni Controller MSPID.

Step 1: Use the right arrow to find the “config”

Step 2: Press “system info” Icon, the press it.

Step 3: Record the number displayed to the right of “msp id:”

Step 4: Send an email to
customerappsupport@hayward.com
In the body of the email state your request to remove the Omni from the current account in order be available for the new account.

In the email, state the MSP ID number you recorded in step 3 and the address where the Omni is located.

Within 24-48 hours you can expect a confirmation email acknowledging that MSPID you provided is ready to be registered by the new homeowner.

After the Omni registration is released from the previous homeowner, the new owner may setup a Hayward Account by installing and launching the Hayward Omni app and selecting the “Don’t have an Account?" link below the “Login" button and setup a new account.  Please note that the verification code is only good for 30 minutes once issued.

If the new owner has a Hayward account, when they log into the Hayward Omni app they will need to select the button named "Add New Site“, examples provided below on the left, which will launch the "Add Site" screen to register the MSP ID. Once registered this Omni will be available to be controlled by the new owner.
