How To Rename My Pool or Spa (on Omni)
Changing the name of a Body Of Water, a Pool or Spa, must be done from the Omni controller using the config wizard
The config wizard is used to modify the configuration of your Omni system and equipment. It is advised that the config wizard be used by a Hayward trained pool professional. You can use the following link to contact a Hayward Authorized Servicer
Right arrow navigate to the config button and select it to open the SYSTEM configuration.
Then
select the config wizard button.

To Find MSP ID
The MSP ID can be found by selecting the system info button from the SYSTEM configuration menu. The MSP ID is displayed at the top of the SYSTEM INFO screen.
Select the Edit button to enter the edit mode for your Backyard configuration.
Select the Bodies of Water button to select which body of water to rename
Select the Body of Water you wish to Edit. For this example, we’ll choose the Pool.
Next select the Other Options button to access changing the name of the Pool.
To change the name of the Pool select the Name button.
The current name of the Pool is displayed in the edit box named Name of Pool. Select the edit box and a keyboard widget will be displayed, backspace to erase the characters of the current name then enter the new name of the Pool.
After the new name of the Pool has been entered, select the Home button to return to the Main Menu.
The same set of steps, only selecting the Spa as the Body Of Water can be used to edit the name of the Spa.
Once the new name of the Body Of Water has been entered you can select the Home button to return to the Edit Main Menu screen.
From the Main Menu screen selecting the Save button will commit the name change for the Bodies Of Water edited and save the new Backyard configuration.
Select the checkmark button to Save the name change edits.
