How to recalibrate the Omni touch screen.
- The Omni touch screen can be re-calibrated in two ways.
- The first method is by going into service mode. The second is known as the power cycle method(The power cycle method requires having firmware R3.2.0 or higher installed on your Omni’s MSP ).
Re-Calibrating from service mode
1. Press the power button.
2. Press service mode.
3. Press Yes.
4. Press calibrate.
5. Press the checkmark to begin the screen calibration.
When complete the OmniLogic will reboot.
6. The OmniLogic will remain in service mode after reboot.
Press the power button to exit service mode.
7. Press the service mode exit button.
This will return the OmniLogic to normal operation.
How to re-calibrate using the power cycle method:
1. Press the power button.
If unable to press the power button, flip the breaker off and go to step 5.
2. Press the shutdown button.
3. Press the checkmark.
4. It is now safe to turn off the OmniLogic at the breaker.
Note: If this message does not appear after 2 minutes, flip the breaker anyway.
5. With the power off, press and hold your finger on the Omni's display. Restore power to the Omni while still holding your finger on the screen. Continue to hold your finger on the screen until you see a message to lift you finger to enter screen calibration.
6. After completing the screen calibration, the Omni will reboot to the screen calibration mode. Once the screen calibration has been completed the Omni controller will reboot in Standard Mode ready for operation.
