How to Fix the Error Provisioning Alarm

For Omni systems running version less than R4.8.0, it is required to upgrade to the latest version via usb in order to remove the alarm.
For Omni version R4.8.0 or later, the Error Provisioning Alarm can be caused from either or both
.

  1. The date/time of the Omni is out of sync with the server​
  2. Poor Internet connection

​Please verify the Omni Automation System is set to automatically update the date and time from the Internet. Follow the steps below at the Omni control panel

Step 1: Use the right arrow to find the “config” icon, then press it.

Step 2: Press “date/time”

Step 3: Select “Network Time Options”                                                    

Step 4: Toggle the button to “ON”, for Automatically get date and time from internet.  ​

Step 5: Toggle the button to “ON”, Automatically adjust for daylight saving time if your county follows daylight saving.​

Step 6: Set the time zone slider for your location and last, select the checkmark button to complete setting the time options.

At this point your date/time screen is expected to look like the following example with the two toggle switches at the top set to ON and the time zone set to your location.

Step 7: Reboot the Omni by pressing the power button (1) followed by Shut down (2).  Restart by tapping the power button (3).

If Omni Error Provisioning Alarm Persists

If the Error Provisioning Alarm persists after setting the date/time to sync with the Internet please check the quality of your Internet connection at the Omni control panel.​

Step 1: Press “config”

Step 2: Press “network”​

Verify the Omni is “connected” and has a good Signal Strength, as shown below.

If the network screen shows as “not connected” check the network configuration and correct the problem.​

A Signal Strength of 50% or greater is good.​


If the Error Provisioning Alarm persists after setting the date/time to sync with the Internet and the quality of your Internet connection at the Omni control panel has been determined to be good, then contact Hayward Support at customerappsupport@hayward.com.​
