How to Control Timed Chlorination

From the mobile app you can control the Timed Chlorination to automatically chlorinate a Body Of Water using salt chlorination. Timed Chlorination actively runs for a percentage of each hour that the filter pump is running. You can check on the state of the chlorinator as well as run diagnostics against the T-Cell used to convert salt to chlorine.

To access the Chlorinator screen, select the Body Of Water tile and then the Chlorinator tile.

From the Body of Water screen you can see the current status of chlorination. A status of “On” indicates that chlorination is available to run.

When the Chlorinator is On it is available to chlorinate the water.
When the Chlorinator is Off it is not available to chlorinate the water.

To have Timed Chlorination be  available set the toggle to the right setting the Status to On.

To have Timed Chlorination be  available set the   toggle to the left setting the Status to Off.

Chlorinator Diagnostics are needed when you are experiencing problems with the chlorination. For example, alarms will be generated when the cell temperature or the salt readings in Parts Per Million (ppm) are outside of the expect range; either too low or too high. For an AquaRite, please use the LCD panel for the diagnostics.

Super Chlorination is run when the Timed Chlorination has not been keeping up with water sanitization and needs to be ON at High speed.

To run Timed Chlorination in Super Chlorinate the Status must be set to On for the Super Chlorinate button to be available

While Super Chlorination is running the filter pump is ON for Super Chlorinate.Note that When Super Chlorinate is started the filter pump will be caused to be ON at High speed.

Super Chlorinate runs as a timer set in 1 hour increments from 1 to 96 hours.
